The first post was a bit of a downer.  That wasn't exactly my original intent for my introduction, but it was completely honest.  There is another reason I chose the title that I did.  Which revolves around the  definition of the word "balance." I believe balance or the lack there of... Is the underlining reason we have gotten to where we are today. It is also one of the best approach's I know to address what will become of our future.  I state "one of," not "solely" as if it is the only path we should take.  However I do believe in order to correct the inequality we are experiencing all around us we have to level out the playing field.

Since we have proven that mankind and it's dominance in linear ways of thinking hasn't exactly lead us to the road of utopia, maybe we should look towards a force greater then our own.  No, I am not talking religion or God.  As a matter of fact I am talking about nature...  Mother Nature knows balance like no other.  Now mind you, I am not ruling out/ nor putting down the almighty Father (for anyone who might get their religious panties in a bunch reading this) I am just introducing a truth that no one can deny.  Nature is balance, even better it demands balance, and by including Mother Nature in my own personal search for direction when it comes to evening out the scales I ran across a few profound epiphanies, that otherwise I would have been daft too.

I don't really know what this blog is going to be about. I am not even certain why I have created it. I figured it would be a place I could safely store my thoughts and perhaps define them better.

The title “Hanging in the Balance,” is based on my point of view of mankind, and the reality we won't face. We are presently in a precarious position, dependent on circumstances that have been far beyond our control for some time.

We are, just hanging in the balance...
